A cowboy encompasses loyalty, toughness, freedom, respect for land and animals. When you use the word “cowboy” your talking about grit, hard working, dependability, someone who pitches in and gives a hand when there’s a need, strong character, loves God, family and country. Cowboy is a culture and a lifestyle. So when we use the word cowboy it’s not just about masculinity, it embraces the feminine as well. When we say cowboy spirit or cowboy culture, that’s cowboys and cowgirls, all inclusive from the toddler to the moms and dads, brother and sisters, aunts and uncles, grandmas and grandpas. He/she is the same in heart and soul whether they’re on the range or in the big city. You can take a cowboy off the range, but you can never take the range out of the cowboy. Not all cowboys have bucked broncos or ridden bulls, the nature of the cowboy is in his character in all spheres. He/she is rowdy but also loves peace and quiet when given the chance. They have strong bondings to family, friends, and horses. They never miss a BBQ, friendly gatherings, and if you mention a barn burner hoedown, they’ll come from all corners of the country to be there. The cowboy represents strength, honor and passion.

Dance ministers to the heart of Ukrainian culture. We’re introducing a new genre of dance, country swing, cowboy 2 step, country walz, and the very popular country line dance. Dance does more than increase your heartrate, it touches the soul. It’s an expression of feeling, emotion and vibe. When the beat is laid down, the feet can’t help but move. Dance is one of our main passions here at the Association of Ukrainian Cowboys.
- FOOD -
When you think of a country kitchen, you think of juicy steaks, mouth watering succulent beef ribs, hamburgers that make your taste buds sing, desserts that give you food orgasms, the aromas of BBQs and spices fill the saloons or outdoor events, inescapable. The menu doesn’t end with just a few items on the list. People travel for miles to have a country breakfast, with its signature biscuits and gravy, hashbrowns, link sausages and sunny side up eggs. Once you experience this, you’ll be coming back for more. Food is our other passion here at the Association of Ukrainian Cowboys.

Ukrainians are some of the most talented people in the world and it really shows in their music. Grab your hat and put on your boots and get ready to dance and stomp the night away. Our bands will fill the air with amazing classics and contemporary country music, along with soulful Ukrainian beats. Listen to the stories being told through the lyrics, allow the beat to penetrate your soul, and let the music take you into a whole different world.
